OneView has Gone Mobile

Pedigree Technologies has made it even easier for OneView users to stay connected with their assets. We have created OneView Mobile. This link allows any user with a smartphone or tablet to view their “assets” anytime or anyplace (as long as they have coverage).

 

 To Access OneView Mobile:

  1. Tap on the link below when viewing this email on your phone (or go to the browser on your phone and enter the link below):

  1. The following screen will display. Users need to enter their OneView User ID and Password and tap on Login.

  1. OneView Mobile will be display on the screen. Users can click on “Assets” to view any assets in OneView. Settings is where users can logout of the mobile link.

  1. Once “Assets” is clicked all the regions in OneView will display. Users can click on one of these to drill down to the “asset(s)” they would to view.

  1. Once users have found the “asset(s)” they would like to view they can click on the Map in the upper right corner to view their locations on a map.

  1. Users can also click on an “asset” to view speed, ignition, runtime. Use the map in the upper right corner to see the location of this asset.

Note: Once users have logged into the link they will stay logged in until logout is selected under Setting. The OneView link will not pull data continuously. Users will need to use the refresh button on the upper right side of the search box to pull new data.

This link can be saved to bookmarks on your Smartphone/Tablet so it is easily accessible. Please see the steps below for how to do this.

The Groups Feature is Now Available in OneView

The “Groups” feature in OneView is now available to send reports, notifications and messages to multiple users or roles at one time.

Setting up Groups:

1. Select the Admin tab at the top of OneView and then click on the Groups Tab.

2. All the groups will display and select the Create New Group.

3. This will allow users to name the group and click on create.

4. Find the group that was just created click on the name and then Add Users.

Note: If a user needs to be deleted click on the “X” after their name.

Using Groups:

Once the desired groups are setup, go to Jobs, Maintenance, and Alarms to setup notifications.  In addition, users can send Messages and Report delivery schedules to groups.

Please note that setting up Groups is only available to OneView Admin users. If you do not have admin rights and would like them please contact me, your account manager. I would be happy to discuss this with you.  Users given this access are required to attend an Admin training session. All these sessions are available to register for within OneView in the upper right corner by clicking on Help. Then find the Admin session that works in your schedule and register for it.

The Location History in OneView has been Updated

The Location History dashboard module and tab have been updated in OneView.  A new view and additional parameters have been added to provide users with a easy to use interface.

Show Stops:

Clicking on an asset in the Legend or on the map will show the historical data table for that asset.  Clicking on the Show Stops button displays the address and landmark name – clicking on a stop in the table will highlight the stop in the map.

Show Details:

The Show Details button shows the moving readings between each stop which includes the Odometer, Speed, Heading and Status.

You will also see these updates on the asset details location history tab.  As a reminder, to get to the this page, click on an asset from the Asset Tree on the left side of OneView and then on the the Location History tab.
