What’s new for users on the OneView platform.

Polygon Landmarks/Geofences are Now Available in OneView

Pedigree Technologies is excited to announce the release of polygon landmarks/geo-fences. If you are not familiar with landmarks/geofences, they are virtual perimeters around a specific location. The locations you landmark/ geo-fence could be customer sites, secure areas, or any location you would like to have identified on a report or by an alarm. Previously, OneView supported radius landmarks only that you could fit to the size needed around the specific location. Some customers found radius landmarks to cover more area than they wanted. With this release of polygon landmarks/geofences, you are able to create your own virtual perimeter around the location. All you need to do is click to draw the desired perimeter.

Adding a Landmark/Geofence:

  1. Click on the Flagpole in the upper left corner of OneView.


  1. Click on the drop-down arrow and then select Create Landmark.
  2. Follow the steps below for setting up the landmark. Once you have all the fields filled in you can switch the map to hybrid in the upper right corner and verify the location is correct.





Name: Name of the landmark

Type: Type of landmark – can be used to change the landmark icon set

Folder: Select the folder to store the new landmark in or create a new folder for the landmark

Address: Address of the landmark (Note: Address does not need to be filled in. You can leave this blank and use Latitude and Longitude below the map.)

Radius/Polygon drop-down:

  • Radius- a basic circle geofence with the size defined by the distance entered
  • Polygon- allows user to click and draw the perimeter around the location

Description: Landmark description (Note: This is a required field)

Latitude and Longitude: Moving the pin on the map will adjust the latitude and longitude values or they may be adjusted manually

Editing an Existing Landmark/Geofence:

If you have landmarks already setup with a radius these can now be edited to a polygon if needed. Follow the steps below to update your landmarks.

  1. Click on the Flagpole in the upper left corner of OneView.


2.In the search box type in the landmark name and press Enter. The landmark folder will expand to display the landmark you search for.


  1. Then right click on the landmark and choose Edit.


  1. The Edit Landmark box will display and allow you to edit this landmark.


North Dakota Wells

Customers now have the option to view North Dakota Well Sites in OneView. This excellent addition allows you to easily see which assets have visited wells. The wells can also be viewed on any map within OneView.

The well sites are listed as landmarks into OneView and users can pull reports such as the Landmark Visit History Report and Landmark Runtime Report to view useful information for your business needs. Please follow these steps to pull the reports:

  1. Click on the Reports tab in OneView.
  2. Select New Custom Report in the upper right corner of OneView.
  3. In the Report Type drop-down select the desired report; Landmark Visit History or Landmark Runtime Report.
  4. Choose the Duration for the report in the drop-down.
  5. Click on the little wrench next to assets and select which assets the report should be run on.
  6. Then click on Generate Report on the right side of the screen.

Note: Pedigree Technologies also has a Landmark PTO report if you are monitoring PTO on your assets.


Viewing the well locations on maps makes it easier to see where assets are in relation to wells. The well sites can be viewed on maps always or just as needed.

Adding the ND Wells to dashboard maps or other maps in OneView:

  1. Click on the Dashboard tab in OneView.
  2. Select the dashboard module the ND Wells will be added on.
  3. Click on the Map drop-down in the upper right corner of the module and select the ND Wells for the wells to temporarily show on the map.


Click on the Wrench in the upper right corner of the module and place a checkmark in front of ND Wells for the well to permanently show on the map.


  1. The ND Wells will display on the map as red icons. Users can then double click on the map to zoom in to view the various well sites.


Note: The ND Wells can be set as defaults on all maps. Users need to click on Settings in the upper right corner of OneView and the General Settings tab will pop-up. Then scroll until the Maps section displays and find the Landmark group: ND Wells switch it to Show and click on Save at the bottom of the page.

Posted Speed Limits

Pedigree Technologies is excited to announce that we now have posted speed limit violation reporting available as an option in OneView. This new feature will provide users with even more insight into their assets. With the addition of posted speed limits we also have new reports available and additional scorecard attributes to view all of this new information.


Posted Speed Limit Report

This report will show a posted speed limit violation each time a vehicle went 3 mph or more above the speed limit in a city and 5mph or more on the highway. The report allows the user to click on the address to see a map displaying the exact location of the speed violation.




Posted Speed Limit Violation Summary Report

This report shows a summary of violations over the selected timeframe. It gives percent speeding, max speeds, and worst posted speed violation incidents.



Note that the reports for posted speed limits are always historical. Users are not able to view reports for today until processing has occurred overnight. Reports can be easily set up with a delivery schedule so users can quickly look over the previous day’s information in an email each morning.


Scorecard Additional Attributes

The scorecards will also display additional attributes for those customers who wish to add on posted speed limits.
