FARGO, N.D. — Pedigree Technologies, a leading provider of fleet management and supply and service-chain solutions, has announced the release of the Cab-Mate Connect, a product designed to provide the fastest and easiest way for transportation companies to become FMCSA compliant.

Pedigree Technologies’ customers already experience the most user-friendly and comprehensive fleet management and compliance solution on the market. Now, the company has added another option to the ELD Chrome series of products. The Cab-Mate Connect features a compact and rugged tablet design, wired and wireless connectivity, front and rear-facing cameras, and a 7″ touch display. Easily installed, this tablet is configured for ELD-use only, making it a more affordable option suitable for any size carrier needing to become compliant before the December 2017 mandate deadline.

“There are many different options for fleet managers to choose from when getting their trucks and drivers equipped to use ELDs,” said Joshua DeCock, the company’s Solutions Director.  “This particular product is targeted to those who want something that is fast to implement and easy to use while still meeting all of the regulatory requirements for ELDs.”

The tablet itself has been ruggedized for increased durability and allows companies to decide which apps are available to their drivers. The unit removes easily from the included mount and cradle system for out-of-cab use, such as inspections, making it fully compliant with ELD regulations. The Cab-Mate Connect works seamlessly with the OneView solution, enabling the back office with complete visibility into their operation.

“We’ve tried to make things as easy as possible, so that fleet managers can think less about maintaining compliance and stay focused on the important work they have in keeping their drivers safe and their trucks on the road performing more effectively and efficiently,” DeCock said.

“We listened to our customers and markets, and we heard them clearly. They love our solutions and are excited for more choices of product components. They want things simple and easy. Longevity and durability are important, as is having different cost, value, and affordability options. This is a major step forward in our customer growth plans to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.” Wade Wilson, President and CEO.
