Less than truckload trucking, or LTL, is a term meaning to hauling or shipping a small load, typically less than 10,000 pounds, that doesn’t fill the whole trailer or vehicle. Less-than-truckload services are available, offering the ability to share the remaining space with another load of freight from other shippers/carriers.
